I have a very low visceral tolerance for cluttered environments and people.
A life and business stripped of excess feels luxurious to me.
Focusing on what truly matters creates a deep body exhale.
Living as an essentialist, not a dogmatist is where I thrive.
I need simplicity in my life as much as I need water, food, and fresh air.
That sensation of emptiness, ease, and spaciousness feels so nourishing.
Having space in my body, my days, my calendar, has a direct impact on the quality of my thinking, the clarity of my guidance and the depth of my seeing.
Can you feel that for yourself as well?
The emptier my body, the sharper my mind.
All Mental Projectors have a deeply receptive body. The openness below our Throat center makes it easy for us to attune to our environment — the places, people, thoughts, emotions, and situations that surround us.
The blessing of our receptivity:
Reading energy like other people read spreadsheets, which makes us excellent guides, highly empathetic beings, aware of the fine nuances that other people miss.
The challenge of our receptivity:
Without clear, caring, and sovereign boundaries we become deeply enmeshed with others, feeling energetically dirty, hijacked by our not-self, and experiencing disease.
But then we have a very sharp mind. And sometimes it can feel as if our perception and impact skills are competing with each other — as if they were opposing forces, creating a tug-of-war within our design.*1
I remember how disempowering that apparent conundrum felt when I first learned about it. I thought: “What a crude cosmic joke, that sucks.”
But I’m happy to report that it gets so much better. And I hope that in your own timing, you’ll begin to see what a beautiful and powerful blueprint your soul has chosen to embody in this lifetime.
At this point it’s obvious to me that daily emptying out and prioritizing energetic hygiene is not a nice-to-have for us, but vital to blossom into our full potential.
There is much power to be harnessed by getting empty, trusting our receptive nature, and becoming blissfully ignorant of keeping up, rushing, or forcing clarity on decisions.
That acceptance forms part of our energetic integrity and keeps our minds crisp, innovative, and sharp to translate our seeing and awareness into language.
Now I’ve shared why I love simplicity so much.
And yet, for the longest time it was so hard to welcome it into my life.
I treated simplicity like an unwanted guest — a nuisance I wanted to get rid of, asap.
It took me a while to find out that what I actually disliked was oversimplification.
I was missing nuance and depth within the realm of simplicity.
That’s why I made my own life so much harder than it needed to be.
Adding complexity, because I was unconsciously rejecting simplicity.
I navigated the loop you might be familiar with…
→ Overcomplicating things.
→ Mental exhaustion.
→ Confusion and self-doubt.
→ No energy for aligned action.
→ Shame and guilt about being where I am.
→ Rinse and repeat.
That was utterly exhausting and I didn’t even know why I was so tired. The lesson for me was to pause and untangle for a moment from my fixed way of thinking. Only to realize that most of the time things are way simpler than they appear to my mind.
As I opened up to a fresh way of seeing, I learned that:
Simple doesn’t mean there is no substance.
Simple doesn’t mean stupid or unelevated.
Simple means to choose the most aligned step.
Where you don’t feel like pushing a boulder uphill.
But simple requires a level of honesty not everyone is willing to engage in.
It requires you to disagree with a culture that preaches more is more — and that can feel edgy and uncomfortable.
Looking at the charge my body carried around the word simplicity made me aware of where my familiar, social, and cultural conditioning had steered me away from my intuitive truth. And while I was choosing a different way, one that was rooted in stripping away excess and noise, I became less available, less relatable, and so much less tolerant to anything non-essential. I was devoted to designing structures and standards that allowed me to thrive as a Mental Projector — in life and in business.
Simple, nuanced, and deep.
Rooted in doing less and seeing more.
Honoring my environmental sensitivity.
Enjoying my natural energy and rhythm.
Do you trust that your emptiness creates an unmistakable signal for the right people to find you?
